With 30 years, Private-Service experience Kevin started his career as Butler at The British Embassy in Paris that regularly receives British Royalty, European Aristocrats, World Leaders & Heads of Industry. Kevin moved onto work as both Butler & in managerial roles for: Count Gritti, The Rothschild family, Swiss Financiers & Hoteliers & Lord & Lady Black. In the role of Director of Palaces for Their Majesties King Abdullah & Queen Rania of The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordon. Kevin was responsible for initiating the total restructure of a staff of 1700, while also organising 2 State Banquets and 1 Return Banquet to host The Spanish Royal Family. Kevin also worked for Len Blavatnik & Access Industries and HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Khalifa Bin Hamed Al-Thani before starting Green Baize Door and specialising in placing the highest calibre domestic staff into Private Service Environments. Through Green Baize Door Kevin continues to work with the world’s leading service providers.

Has worked in Domestic service all his adult life. He began his career at Buckingham Palace as a footman and underbutler, and has worked throughout Europe for an elite clientele, followed by almost ten years as Major Domo for a prominent New York family. In 2006, he turned his efforts to run and manage the various households Worldwide of a HNW family. He has worked alongside top International designers including, Mark Hampton, Peter Marino and Michael Smith Inc to assist in the smooth opening and set up of some of the World’s foremost residential properties, and assisted in hosting and planning events Worldwide; including a 5 day society wedding in New Orleans; smaller, more intimate buffet suppers on Eat on Square; formal elaborate dinners for clients on Fifth Avenue; and more elaborate events in showrooms, stately homes and outdoor settings in the Hamptons. Now, based in London, he has turned those talents to the creation of www.HouseMartinofLondon.com in handling all aspects of effective household organisation, bespoke staff training and in conjunction with GreenBaizeDoor, event planning.
