The Chauffeur / Duty Driver for our private London Estate is expected to support the House Manager / House Man with a wide range of operationally essential tasks. The Chauffeur / Duty Driver is expected to work with the other members of the management team to deliver the highest level of service to the Principals. You will be working in a busy estate where the ability to think on your feet is expected.

Roles and Responsibilities

You will be expected to have extensive experience in the following areas:-

  • Clean and maintain all vehicles across the fleet so they are always ready if required.
  • Responsible to the movement and delivery of all vehicles required to the required location and the correct operation of the vehicle elevator system.
  • Movement of staff between sites by way of an estate vehicle.
  • Baggage train vehicle to move luggage or travelling staff when Principals or guests arrive or depart locations.
  • Collection of flowers from market and stores from wholesalers.
  • Support the Family Office by moving staff around as required.
  • Clean Driving License essential
  • Any other tasks required to support the estate
  • Plan routes and ensure punctuality at all times.
  • High standards of personal grooming when front of house.
  • Any other operational requests from the Head of Estates or House Manager

 

Entry Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

The chauffeur / Duty Driver is expected to have worked at the highest level of service either within industry and had experience of working within a private house for UHNWI. The Chauffeur / Duty driver is expected to work in partnership with the other members of the estate team to deliver the highest level of operational performance. You should be educated to an acceptable level and be able to demonstrate a wide range of skills and knowledge within your respective discipline. It is expected that you will have at least five years’ experience working with high end motor vehicles and the movement of principles. Advanced driver, I.A.M. or other relevant driving qualifications are preferred.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to juggle a range of different tasks and to work extra hours to meet deadlines
  • Discretion and an understanding of confidentiality issues.
  • Good knowledge of London without the need for a satnav.

 

ADDITIONAL NOTES

This is a demanding and high pressure role running a private estate at 7* level. This role would best suit someone who is at the very top of their discipline.
