We are looking to recruit a dynamic, forward-thinking, detail orientated Personal Assistant or Secretary.

Based in offices just a few minutes from Oxford Circus, we are a niche recruitment company, that serves the Service Industry, placing candidates into both Commercial catering and Private Service roles.

Roles and Responsibilities

The role will provide varied responsibilities, but may typically include:

PA / Secretary duties

  • Daily correspondence, including: writing and sending: emails/texts/letters
  • Diary management
  • Managing and making travel arrangements
  • Taking phone calls and messages
  • Managing Christmas and birthday card lists etc
  • Organising/maintaining the filing system (soft documents)
  • Organising/maintaining a limited amount of filing (hard documents)
  • Note: All hardware is MAC

 

Assisting with HR related tasks

  • Placing and updating job adverts on the company website
  • Filtering applicants by using prepared JDs and KPIs to judge a candidate’s suitability
  • Replying to applicants: requesting additional information / organising interviews and/or declining
  • Preparing and formatting resumes
  • Managing DBS applications via online portal
  • Ability to liaise directly and effortlessly with clients, helping with their enquires and/or general questions

 

Ad Hoc

  • Shopping/sourcing items for projects
  • Researching given topics (this can be quite varied and sometimes very abstract!)
  • The company is often involved with Hospitality Project work, and these projects can bring about very different work-loads to the company  

Entry Requirements

  • A proven ability to write well in English (including emails and texts, without an overuse of abbreviations)
  • Good understanding of basic etiquette and protocol
  • Excellent verbal communication and listening skills
  • A cheerful disposition and a 'can-do' approach to every task – even the boring ones!
  • Candidates with Arabic, or multi-lingual skills, would be advantageous as would qualifications or proven work experience gathered in either HR or deluxe Hospitality related business
