Roles and Responsibilities

You will be expected to have extensive experience in the following areas:

  • Ability to operate wash up area equipment.
  • Clean and polish cutlery before and after use.
  • Hand wash silver and china ware to the highest standard.
  • Report faults to the Head Chef and support with inventory control.
  • Maintain stock levels of cleaning materials required within the wash up area.
  • Physically fit as this is a demanding role.
  • Maintain the highest levels of hygiene set by the Head Chef.
  • Willing to learn and develop personal and professional skills.
  • Cleaning / hygiene certificate within the kitchen environment.
  • Move Goods around the property to varied Locations (goods In to waste out).
  • Any other request that supports the estate.

Eligibility


The Kitchen Porter / Bussers are expected to have worked in the hotel or catering within industry or had experience of working within a private house for UHNWI. The Porter / bussers are expected to work in partnership with the other members of the estate team to deliver the highest level of operational performance. You should be educated to an acceptable level and be able to demonstrate a wide range of skills and knowledge within your respective discipline. It is expected that you will have at least three years’ experience working within the hotel, catering or private house field.
