Butler I Yorkshire
Circa £30K-£35K pa gross (DOE)
We are looking for a Butler who is a good allrounder. Who will be happy situated in a very rural part of Yorkshire, the candidate must be used to the countryside way of living and ideally have previous experience working on a Shooting Estate. The role is varied from busy entertaining periods of very high end service, to periods of time with lots of hands on cleaning roles. The role requires flexibility, and willing to be part of a small tightly knitted team. Own lovely 2 1/2 bed cottage All bills paid (fully inclusive) Competitive salary with an increase after completion of the probationary period To be able to receive Family and Guests and assist with luggage. Assist the House Manager to run the house proficiently with a hands on approach. Answer the telephone and pass on messages as required. Help organise any maintenance and repairs to the house. Daily hovering, dusting , cleaning to keep the lodge immaculate at all times. Assist the housekeepers when required. Oversee contractors and suppliers when required. Set tables and serve meals in the lodge and picnic lunches on the moor. Keep an account on stock levels of cleaning products, dry store food and Drinks. Clean the silverware, crystal and china. Remain flexible in all scenarios to accommodate guest’s needs. Driving duties as required. Possible trips abroad with family. Stay motivated and most of all happy. Be a part of a hardworking, enthusiastic team. IT skills would be beneficial Excellent communication and organisation skills. Own lovely 2 1/2 bedroom cottage Family & pets welcome Minimum of 2- 3 years experience working in a private household Due to the rural location the Butler must have a full drivers licence Previous experience working on a shooting estate idealJOB REFERENCE
