Roles and Responsibilities

• Enthusiastic and organised team players who is hands-on in nature;
• Able to demonstrate excellent communication skills along with an excellent command of English, spoken and written;
• Able to work with a multi-national team, and able to devise teaching methods that will ensure that all the staff know how to operate the household systems relevant to them;
• Familiar with managing contractors and suppliers;
• Able to take control of the supervision of all general household maintenance;
• Able to manage accounts (in collaboration with the Private Office and House-Manager);
• Able to acknowledge that while this is essentially a Monday to Friday role, they will need to offer flexibility at weekends.

Entry Requirements

• Must have a solid knowledge of building/mechanical, electrical systems (MEP) & Audio Video (AV).
• Proven communication skills written and verbal including negotiation with the ability to make decisions.
• Competent in Health and Safety management.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Strong computer skills, including MS Excel, Word and Office
• Good working knowledge of FM in hard and soft services, incl. landscaping.
• Familiarity with regulations and statutory compliance.

It will be an advantage if candidates hold HNC/HND Engineering discipline/Associate Degree and/or a professional membership in Facilities Management, although it will be more important for candidates to demonstrate a wide range of practical skills and knowledge within their respective discipline and to have a good working knowledge of current high-end systems.

• A Clean Police Record and be happy to undergo a DBS Check.
