Housemaid | Berwickshire Scotland

£25,000 DOE + Accommodation

Summary

We are looking for a Live-in Cleaner to help ensure our client's Lodge is maintained to the highest possible standard. The Lodge will always be kept in a ready state, to allow family & guests to arrive at short notice. Therefore, it is essential that the standard of service, cleaning and general maintenance of the Lodge is impeccable.

When The Principals are in residence, then general day-to-day duties will require the cleaner to maintain the Lodge in good, clean working order, while ensuring correct standards and practices are maintained, and paying particular attention to the principals's personal requirements.

When The Principals are not in residence the general day-to-day duties will  require that the Lodge is kept in a ready state by following a well-ordered routine for daily tasks, and in-depth, rotational, high and low cleaning procedures  for when the house is unoccupied.

Candidates will be required to work seamlessly with another Housekeeper and household staff, all the while, maintaining a sunny and upbeat and professional disposition at all times

While it may seem obvious, as mentioned this is a shooting estate, and therefore staff must be comfortable working in a property which hosts 'shoots', and includes a collection of  taxidermy.

Hours of Work

When the principals are not in residence: 08:00 to 16:00 (5 days on and 2 days off).  Generally, Mon – Fri.

When Principals are in residence: Flexible hours required  to fulfil the role, with weekends and evening shifts required.

NOTE: Candidates MUST drive and own their own car. This role is located close to the borders of Scotland, with the nearest village 10 minutes drive.
