SKILLED GARDENER / SUNNINGDALE

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled and enthusiastic gardener at an historic 200-acre private estate in Ascot, Berkshire. This position would suit a self-motivated and passionate gardener who is keen to develop their career further.

Working under the direction of the Head Gardener, the successful candidate will be primarily responsible for maintaining 60-acres of Grade I listed gardens. The highly maintained estate encompasses grass tennis courts, wildflower meadows, an outdoor swimming pool, rose garden, potager, cutting garden, greenhouse, and woodland glade. Applicants for this role will ideally be in the early stages of their career and either have experience working in a private estate garden or hold an academic horticultural qualification at RHS Level 2 or above/equivalent.

The estate has an excellent record of providing personal development plans and training to hardworking and committed individuals.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm. Some Saturdays and Bank Holidays required during busy periods.
