Travelling Housekeeper

We have a rare and unique opportunity for an all-rounder, who is happy to embrace a role that involves European travel.

Our client, with a young family, is seeking a good all-rounder with strong housekeeping skills to join a small team of 3.  The ideal candidate will flourish in a new work environment, and will enjoy extensive travel between: Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, England, and Portugal. 

This role will focus on housekeeping duties and home-building, but candidate must be happy to wear many hats, enthusiastically talking on cooking, serving, logistics, house management and administrative duties as needed.

Until now the family have not required staff, having managed by themselves, aided by occasional part-time help. However, with the commitments of a young family, they wish to build a little team, of friendly, dynamic and trustworthy people to help them regain structure to their lives.

Good sea-legs would also be useful, should the family require the housekeeper to travel aboard the family’s beautiful ocean-going sailing yacht. Previous experience working on yachts would be seen as an advantage – although is not essential.

Candidates must show they would embrace a slightly different work environment and will enjoy the spontaneity created by a hands-on role, with a family who have homes across Europe (London/Berlin/Lisbon & Scandinavia).
